POLSEPfeed S 60

POLSEPfeed S 60 is a sepiolite product used as a feed additive in accordance with the (EC) No. 1831/2003 regulation approved by the European Union under E-562 and Article 16 of the Regulation on Feed Additives Used in Animal Feeding of the Ministry of Agriculture/Forestry of the Republic of Turkey. Thanks to its chemical inertness, moisture control, anti-caking properties, absence of toxic substances, and ease of use, POLSEPfeed S 60 provides excellent support to the quality of feed and animal products. The main effects of adding POLSEPfeed S 60 to feed are as follows:

  • Due to its low cation exchange capacity, it is an ideal carrier for other additives such as vitamins, minerals, and antibiotics added to mixed feeds.
  • Its density and particle size distribution are compatible with the components of premixes, preventing the separation of feed ingredients and ensuring proper homogenization.
  • Its positive effects on flowability and moisture control enhance feed quality and allow for the addition of liquid components without altering flowability.
  • With its high adsorption/absorption capacity, it reduces mycotoxin contamination in feeds and binds mycotoxins permanently, facilitating their excretion without being absorbed in the digestive tract.
  • Being chemically inert, it does not affect the components of premixes, thereby contributing to the animals' growth, utilization of feed, and strengthening by increasing the feed utilization rate while preserving its regulatory and nutritional properties.
  • By slowing down the transit of feed from the stomach to the small intestine, it increases the contact between the digestive content and the surface of the small intestine. This contributes to the improvement of nutrient digestion and absorption, minimizing possible digestive system disorders.

POLSEPfeed S 100 is a sepiolite product used as a feed additive in accordance with the CE (N°) 1831/2003 regulation approved by the European Union under E-562 and Article 16 of the Regulation on Feed Additives Used in Animal Feeding of the Ministry of Agriculture/Forestry of the Republic of Turkey. POLSEPfeed S 100 is a commonly used flow enhancer and binder in the production of all types of feed. The main effects of adding Sepifeed® S 100 to pelleted feed are as follows:

  • It improves pellet quality by binding other ingredients in the feed, thereby preventing breakage and reducing the formation of fines.
  • It enhances pellet durability during transportation, reducing dusting without the need for additional/major changes in the pelleting process.
